Three months of hard work, countless cover designs, multiple stressful evenings and the website is finally launched! SCENE Magazine is a new entertainment focused magazine (both digital and print!) led by a team of young, keen writers, designers and photographers, of which we aim to provide a springboard for!
What is SCENE?
We’re a brand new entertainment magazine aimed at 16-24 year olds, written and directed by a young, enthusiastic and passionate team. We specialise in TV, Film, Music and Gaming, and aim to provide you with the most up-to-date news and articles regarding your favourite platforms.
Our articles, often dry, witty and humourous are designed to be entertaining to you, if you feel you could fit into our team, be sure to check out the ‘Get Involved!’ tab!
Why SCENE?
The concept of SCENE originates from a GCSE Media Studies project, the brief of which was to create a new, innovative new music magazine. This coursework ignited a blazing passion in both print and web media – and the initial plan was to launch SCENE as part of an AS level ‘Extended Project’, though I felt it was more appropriate to set up the publication as a personal project – and began outlining the plan around December 2010.
It was at this point the current SCENE was devised, branching away from music and into entertainment as a whole, whilst launching an online version to keep readers up to date with all the happenings.
